TaTeTec is the name of a system with which musicians can learn rhythms and practice their accuracy. Tatetec combines metronome, notation and teacher in a unique way. The system consists of two parts: a smartphone application and a sensor to physically hold in the hands. Rhythms can be created by entering numbers and characters in the text field of the application. The created rhythm is then played via headphones using the play button. The musicians practice by hitting the sensor with their hands to the rhythm that they hear. By checking the app after playing, the musicians can learn more about how distinct their sense of rhythm is. TaTeTec is suitable for percussionists, music teachers, students and hobby musicians.
